Limp BIzkit is back together, Dope had a big debut last week, and Twiztid and Static-X debut inside the top 20 this week. Be it signs of the apocalypse or a nefarious plot schemed up by a company that makes those gigantic jeans, the Nu-Metal revival is in full swing! At FMQB, Lamb of God continues their seemingly endless reign on top as the hipster-approved death metal sounds of Wolves in the Throne Room claim most added.

Looks like people still watch the Grammys, or at least give the gift of music along with the flowers and candy. A lot of music, including metal, got a nice increase this week. Who knew that when Robert Plant was a golden god that one day he’d be winning album of the year for a folk/bluegrass album that most people don’t know about. While his album got an amazing 700% sales boost, the effects of the last week registered across the board. After such a dismal few weeks, It looks like there was a decent amount of sales uptick this week on the charts. Possibly it was due to the Grammys, or maybe a lot of Valentines Day gift-buying. Neither of those reasons have anything to do with Cannibal Corpse, whose Evisceration Plague debuted in the top 100 with a bullet, a knife, a pair of pliers and a power drill. Meanwhile at FMQB, 16 aims higher than their band name, finally landing in the top ten.

Unless you played the halftime of the Super Bowl, you probably didn’t sell too many albums this week. Not many debuts this week. Actually, no metal debuts made it in the top 200. At least there’s some new blood coming soon, with Lamb of God and God Forbid releasing albums that will impact in a few weeks. FMQB stays pretty status quo as well.
