Face tattoos are not something that should be taken lightly; if you’re going to get something permanently etched into your face for the world to see, you don’t want it to be something like this. But it appears Korn bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu was confident enough to let someone ink his face with his newest tattoo that is likely meant to be a (not so) subtle nod to his religious faith: Jesus on the cross. Brian “Head” Welch posted this picture today on Instagram showing off Fieldy’s new tattoo pictured to the right.

Head included the text “My boy Fieldy’s new face tattoo… REPRESENTING,” along with the picture. We have to admit as far as face tattoos go, this one actually turned out okay. At least you can make out exactly what it is and that the cross isn’t lopsided or anything. Even so, a tattoo of Jesus on your face basically sets you up for friendly comments all around the internet.
