Motörhead Launch Own Beer In Sweden; We’re Officially Jealous Of Sweden

Beer

Man, the Swedish have everything. A bikini team, Amon Amarth, and now, their very own Motörhead beer. As if having their own wine wasn’t enough, Motörhead are branching out into beer. Motörhead Bastards Lager is available by the case via Sweden’s state liquor shop, Systembolaget. Sadly, that’s the only place in the world it’s available for now.

If you’re wondering what Lemmy Kilmister thinks of his own beer, he’s probably not even aware that it exists. First of all, we all know he’s a Jack Daniels kinda guy. And also, drummer Mikkey Dee is the only band member to offer a quote about the beer, saying “If you think you’re too old for rock ’n’ roll and to drink beer then you probably are. Pity, but that means all the more beer for us.” However, if the company selling the beer, Brands For Fans, really wants Motörhead fans to commit to the lager, they might want to start by spelling the drummer’s name right.
