In Case You Wanted To Know DJ Lethal’s Status In Limp Bizkit

Break (Up) Stuff

If you’re still a fan of Limp Bizkit, then you likely know the drama surrounding DJ Lethal and drummer John Otto’s status in the band. While it was revealed that Otto has returned, Limp Bizkit has been performing overseas with Franko Carino in DJ Lethal’s place. And this past weekend, it became even more apparent that Lethal will not be returning.

The DJ took to his Twitter account this past weekend to vent against the recent events. While you can read a majority of his tweets over at The PRP, Lethal’s tweets did include the following:

“@dascud I’m nobody’s dj. I am me. I’m no kiss ass. I would rather die than be a slave !! Respect that!!

@Neloversion thank you. Im sorry to the fans most if all. Never meant to hurt you. But it’s not a band when one man controls all. ‪#democracy”

In case that wasn’t enough to confirm Lethal’s status in the group, Fred Durst himself tweeted the following yesterday (May 28):

“Sometimes the right decision is painful, but comes from a loving place. My hope is that good people can make the right decisions. Can you?#?”

So there you have it, Lethal seems to be out of Limp Bizkit for the time being. And considering their recent performances with Carino, Lethal’s absence seems to not have affected Limp Bizkit’s status as a band. Whether that’s good or bad is for you to debate.
