Cancellations

Did you see Static-X play in Flint, MI this past Saturday? If so, you didn’t know it at the time, but you saw one of the band’s last shows of 2012. The band have pulled out of the last six dates of their current headlining tour. The reason stated was that Wayne Static has to “prepare for some medical procedures to remedy problems that have been hampering his performance.” That’s a little vague, right? Not to mention the fact that the band will be playing local shows in Lancaster, CA on 10/27 and Ventura CA on 10/28, so either those medical procedures will be taken care of by then, or his medical condition is “fear of the midwest.”

“I’m so sorry to all my fans but I cant give you the 1000% you deserve from Static-X every night right now,” Wayne said in a statement. “Evil disco will continue in 2013. Just wait until you see whats next!!!”

Emmure and Ill Nino will continue to play the remaining dates of the tour, which are as follows:

October 9 Fayetteville, AR @ George’s Majestic Theater
October 11 Shreveport, LA @ Riverside Warehouse
October 12 Little Rock, AR @ Downtown Music Hall
October 13 Dallas, TX @ Palladium Ballroom
October 15 Farmington, NM @ Top Deck
October 17 Lubbock, TX @ Cactus Courtyard
