For the past eight days, Metallica have been playing shows in Mexico City to warm up for two Vancouver shows taking place on August 24th and 25th. Those shows will be filmed by director Nimrod Antal (Predators) and made into their long-rumored 3D movie. The stage set looks absolutely amazing – a combination of sets that we’ve seen before, along with some new stuff as well. The justice statue from …And Justice For All? She’s there. The roadie that falls from the stage? Also there. Lazers and pyro from the Death Magnetic tour are also present. There’s also more pyro, an entire stage that lights up, and more. It even looks like they borrowed Limp Bizkit’s toilet. If we’re this impressed just from looking at this crappily-shot fan-filmed footage, the movie’s going to be a stunner.
