Earlier today, Deadline unveiled the international trailer for Northmen – A Viking Saga. As you might remember, one of the stars of the film is Amon Amarth frontman Johan Hegg, but thanks to this trailer, you now have a chance to see him in action. The film will first be released in Germany before rolling out throughout the rest of the world. The film action adventure film about a gang of Viking marauders is described as such:

When they are shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland, the Northmen must trek to the safety of the Viking stronghold Danelag. But hot on their tails are the King’s ferocious mercenaries, called the Wolf Pack.

It looks like it’s going to be a really solid, violent bloody film. And considering that Hegg has written a boatload of songs about Vikings, as well as having performed on a boat proper, we think he’s ready for action. It’ll be kind of great to see if he has an acting career beyond playing a Viking. So far, it doesn’t seem like the film has a US release yet, but it’s already been sold to the UK, France, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand.
