Close Calls

Lambgoat is reporting that Pathology were involved in a serious van crash late Wednesday night. The band was near Bismarck, North Dakota on their way to Seattle, WA when the band hit black ice and rolled several times before sliding several hundred feet. Though three members were taken to the hospital, no one was seriously injured. Their van, trailer and gear, though, were destroyed in the crash. The band has been in the middle of a tour with Nile, however the incident will force the band to miss the remainder of the tour.

Drummer Dave Astor commented afterwards “Worst car wreck in my life! Lucky to be alive. Everything is destroyed! Extremely traumatized. This tour is absolutely over for us. Infuckingsane!” It’s awful that this has happened to them, but sadly this wouldn’t be the first time we’ve reported on van crashes, and some aren’t as lucky to leave the crash with just a few bruises. Regardless, when you’re a band that relies on touring to make a profit, this is one of the worst things to happen. Hopefully Pathology will be able to recoup in some fashion.
