Metal By Numbers 10/3: Nothing To Brag About

Posted by on October 3, 2014

Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Today, we have for you a very special Friday edition of Metal By Numbers! What makes it so specials? Well, not much really, though no offense to the new debuts below. It’s just one of those weeks in between the biggest metal debuts, which our own Chris Colgan previewed for us earlier this week. But hey, good on you if you’ve picked up any of these new albums. One thing to watch out for this week is two albums that managed to avoid a second week drop and instead bumped up in sales. And of course the usual fall touring sale bumps have occurred as well.

Notable Debuts:

Disciple, Attack (Self-Released) #60, 5,250 sold

The Christian metal band’s tenth album was crowdfunded.

No Bragging Rights, The Concrete Flower (Pure Noise) #107, 3050 sold

This motions to a 85% second week drop.

Godsmack, 1000hp (Universal Republic) #88, 4,225 sold

A 28% drop.

Obey The Brave, Salvation (Epitaph) 260 sold

This bravely drops 44%.
