Unsigned & Streamed: Julius Seizure

Posted by on April 2, 2014

julius seizureWhy should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

This week, we’re digging New Jersey’s own Julius Seizure. Formed in 2011, this five piece metal group has amassed a strong following with its hard-hitting stage show and two debut EPs, 2012’s Beware the Ides of March and last year’s Trials. In short, Julius Seizure plays solid metalcore, blending Hatebreed’s aggression with a dose of Machine Head’s melodicism.

Julius Seizure recently re-recorded the songs “Sixth And Falling” and “Second Coming” with original vocalist Yosef El (who rejoined the group earlier this year). Check out the in the two new re-recordings in the streams below. In addition to playing this year’s New England Metal & Hardcore Fest, Julius Seizure will be playing a handful of shows in Trenton and Clifton, NJ. Check out specific dates below, and keep up to date on the band’s upcoming plans via Facebook.

4/5 – Trenton, NJ @ Championship Bar

4/17 – Worcester, MA @ The Palladium – New England Metal and Hardcore Festival

4/30 – Clifton, NJ @ Dingbatz w/ Battlecross, Beyond Dishonor

5/10 – Trenton, NJ @ Championship Bar (Headbang For the Highway – Battle for Summer Slaughter Round 2)
