Metal and Halloween just go together naturally. In fact, we’ve already seen some bands getting into the holiday spirit. Now, Down is getting in on it too in their own way. The band wants to see your Halloween costume and they want to give you one of three prizes.

All you have to do is take a picture of yourself in your costume and tweet it to @downnola with a chance to see yourself up on Down’s Facebook page (so far, the costumes are pretty badass). There are three special prize-packs that will be awarded to whoever has the Best Costume, Scariest Costume, and Funniest Costume. Extra points if you dress up as a member of the band. We recommend Phil Anselmo as seen on the cover of Pantera’s Power Metal.

If you need inspiration, how about re-watching the video for “Witchtripper” above?
