Contests

We’re now just three days away from the best thing you can do on the Hudson River aside from surviving a plane landing. That’s right, the #PRONGBOAT is happening on Friday, and if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you might want to. Prong will be playing their first NYC area show in five years. ON A BOAT! Yes, land is too strong to contain Metal Insider’s first showcase, which is a Rocks Off Concert cruise. And if you think there’s going to be anything better than seeing Prong play with the Statue of Liberty in the background, we’ll prove you wrong on Friday (see what we did there?).

The bill will also feature  Unsigned & Streamed vets For Sleeping Or Jumping, whose EP Dead Languages was co-produced by The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman, and Eminence, bringing some seriously percussive modern thrash from Brazil, round out the lineup.

Tickets are still on sale, but we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show, which takes place this Friday (19) at 7pm. To enter, just leave a comment in the section below, We’ll pick a winner at random. Winners must be 21 or older, and since it’s an NYC show, it would help if you were local.
