Contests, Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Deck

It’s hard to believe that we’re just one week away from seeing Prong’s first NYC show in five years during this year’s edition of the CMJ Music Marathon.  It’s even harder to believe that it’s on a boat!  But we’ve adjusted to this idea, and now that the dust has settled, we’re ready to give out five pairs of tickets to this Rocks Off! Concert Cruise.  Today, we’ll give away the first set!

So how can you win?  It’s simple: now that this has been posted, tell us via Twitter how stoked you are about the chance to see Prong play on a friggin’ BOAT circling Manhattan next Friday night.  Just send out a tweet explaining your excitement, tag it #PRONGBOAT, and we’ll give the first pair out to one lucky winner.  We might change this up a bit for the other pairs, but for now, that’s all you have to do!

We’ll announce the winner Monday and pick right back up where we left off.

Prong comes tearing into town in support of Carved Into StoneUnsigned & Streamed vets For Sleeping Or Jumping, whose EP Dead Languages was co-produced by The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman, and Eminence, bringing some seriously percussive modern thrash from Brazil, round out the lineup.

Tickets are on sale now for the show for just $25. They’ll be $30 day of show, with very limited CMJ badge entry. You can get them here.

UPDATE: Congrats to Ben Maitland-Lewis, winner of this pair!
