Limp Bizkit Reveal New Album Cover

Yesterday, Opeth revealed one of the coolest cover artworks we’ve seen in a while. Late last night, Limp Bizkit revealed the cover artwork to their new album Gold Cobra and….yeah….

We’re not entirely sure what disturbs us more about this cover: the cross eyed chick and her two sisters with tongues hanging out, the naked bald dude peeping from behind while smelling his finger, or the fact that this is probably what Fred Durst wishes took place backstage at a Limp Bizkit show.

We were already certain that we weren’t going to pick up Gold Cobra, which comes out June 28, after hearing a snippet of “Shotgun” (the rest of the song isn’t much better). So this album cover doesn’t necessarily convince us that the rest of the album is going to be any better. Or are we being too harsh?

In related news, The PRP (who also discovered the album cover first) reports that Lil Wayne, Raekwon, Paul Wall, and Mathematics will appear on unspecified tracks, while Gene Simmons and comedian Lisa Lampanelli will appear on the album’s intro and outro respectively. You can check out the entire track listing over at The PRP and crack your own jokes about it.
