TMZ reports that last week, Body Count vocalist Ice-T’s grandson, Elyjah Marrow, was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter after accidentally shooting and killing his roommate. The 19 year-old was apparently playing around with a handgun in his Georgia apartment when it went off, wounding roommate Daryus Johnson. Police found Johnson unconscious at the apartment, and he was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the Atlanta Journal Constitution says. In addition to the involuntary manslaughter charges, Marrow faces possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless conduct, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a stolen firearm. Marrow had previously appeared on Ice’s reality show Ice Loves Coco.
