Steel PantherNo longer on Universal, Steel Panther are hard at work on their third album, All You Can Eat. And they’re looking to you for help. The band have launched a Pledgemusic campaign for their new album, and in a little over an hour, have already gotten to 40% of their goal as of press time, with 61 days remaining. Part of that might be because of some of the packages they’re giving away for the album, which is set to come out in the Spring. While the video the band post for the campaign promises that one of the things they’ll be giving away is a live swordfish, that’s nowhere to be seen among the premiums. However, the $100 package that gets the funder “pizza and naked pictures of (guitarist) Satchel” is already sold out – if it wasn’t just put there as a goof.

Other premiums include a leather jacket, an autographed Christmas card, a limo ride to a dinner with the band on the Sunset Strip, and much more. But all you need to donate is $10 to get the album as soon as it’s out. Anyone that pledges will also get access to updates, lyric previews and more. Unlike Kickstarter and Indiegogo, Pledgemusic doesn’t say how much the band is seeking, but if they’re almost 50% of the way there directly after launching, they’re either not asking for that much money, or this is much more popular than the band planned it to be. You probably got to see their music video for “Party Like Tomorrow is the end of the World,” because, boobs. But if you haven’t, check it out here.
