Events, I'm On A Boat

Yesterday, At The Gates announced plans to tour Latin America this Summer. While we’re still waiting for their return to the States, the reunited Gothenburg metal legends have added one major event to their upcoming plans: the Barge To Hell Cruise.

“We are almost AT THE GATES of Public Sales for BARGE TO HELL, The World’s Most Extreme Metal Cruise,” the new extreme metal theme cruise revealed via Facebook. At The Gates later confirmed the news via their own posting. This comes almost a week after Belphegor, Kampfar, Soilwork, and Solstafir were added to the bill. Previously confirmed bands include Sepultura, Sodom, Six Feet Under, Paradise Lost, Enslaved, Sanctuary, Rotting Christ and a handful of others.

This Fall/ Winter is already getting packed with metal themed cruises, with Mayhem Fest being the latest to throw their sailors hat into the ring. However, Barge To Hell’s lineup is shaping up really nicely (with the addition of At The Gates a making it even more attractive). And yet 19 out of 40 bands are still left to be announced.

Barge To Hell will set sail to the Nassau, Bahamas from December 3-7. Public Sales will start Friday, April 27 at 12pm EST, with more information available via its website. You can check out a rundown of the 21 bands confirmed so far after the jump.
