Devin Townsend Project has been added to Progressive Nation at Sea 2014, the prog rock cruise featuring Translatlantic, Portnoy, Sheehan, MacAlpine, Sherinian, King’s X, Pain of Salvation, Animals as Leaders, The Safety Fire and Bigelf and more. The Progressive Nation tour was started by Mike Portnoy, then with Dream Theater, and ran in 2008 and 2009.

The Miami to Bahamas cruise via Norwegian ship sets sea February 18, staying afloat through the 22. In the meantime, Devin Townsend Project will release the long-awaited Retinal Circus CD/DVD in October. The interactive set will include two CD’s and two DVD’s with import options also available. Video footage for the release was filmed in the fall of 2012  at the historic Roundhouse in London. The three-hour long live performance features a full choir and theatrical accompaniment. Check out a preview below.
