If you read Metal Insider often, then you know that two of our favorite things in the world are metal and booze. That’s why we’re excited to be starting a new tradition with our buds at Metal Sucks and Metal Injection at our favorite bar in New York City this week. On the fourth Thursday of every month, a member from one of the three websites (including us) will be DJing at Idle Hands. We’ll be spinning metal, holding special giveaways, and taking full advantage of drink specials.

And tomorrow, January 26, Metal Insider is kicking off Metal Night at Idle Hands. However, not only will your favorite Metal Insider peeps (sorry, no Zach) be in the DJ booth, but so will God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle! So if you’re in the NYC area tomorrow, make sure to come party with us at the Idle Hands, located on 25 Avenue B at 3rd Street, starting at 8pm. Not only do we take requests, we can be plied with drinks!
