Is Revelation Records Planning A New York Anniversary Show Too?

Last weekend, trailblazing hardcore label Revelation Records held their 25th anniversary show over the course of several days in Pomona, CA. Among the many bands playing were Quicksand, the pioneering New York post-hardcore band, which led many to ask why their first show in years didn’t happen in New York. Now those people might get a chance to see that after all, as the flyer to the right appeared over the weekend on social media.

There’s no concrete confirmation that this is happening, as neither the label or Irving Plaza have said anything official. Plus, given that the label is celebrating their 25th anniversary, the X is a bit cryptic. And Revelation’s logo has a yellow background, not the green one in this image. However, given that so many of the bands that played the Pomona show were NYC-based (including Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of it All, Underdog), it would make sense that a separate east coast anniversary show would happen.
