Lamb Of God, Machine Head, Anthrax To Embark On Mayhem Fest Cruise?

While on the “black carpet” of this year’s Revolver Golden Gods, Metal Injection caught up with Machine Head’s Robb Flynn and Dave McClain. During their chat, Flynn revealed that Mayhem Fest will be launching their own cruise festival later this year.

You can watch Metal Injection’s entire interview with them above. However, Flynn and McClain let it slip that Machine Head will be joined by Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Suicide Silence on Mayhem Fest cruise edition. It should be noted, though, that an official announcement has yet to be made by Mayhem Fest, while Flynn implies that the package had just been confirmed the day of the award show.

It makes sense that Mayhem Fest would try to enter the theme cruise market given the success of 70,000 Tons Of Metal and Shiprocked (hell, even KISS has their own cruise). But Lamb Of God, Machine Head, Anthrax and Suicide Silence all performing on A BOAT?! Where can we RSVP? Chances are that thanks to Flynn’s slip, we’ll find out more soon.
