It’s only been about four months since the last Metal Masters Clinic took place in Hollywood. And yesterday, it was revealed that the fourth edition will bring the series back to New York on September 7.

Metal Masters 4 will see the return of Slayer’s Kerry King and Dave Lombardo, as well as Anthrax’s Charlie Benante and Frank Bello. Meanwhile, Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Down’s (ex-Pantera) Philip Anselmo have also been confirmed for the event (both have made “surprise appearances” at multiple clinics, but never announced in advance). Joining in on the fun will be Mr. Big bassist Billy Sheehan and Exodus’ Gary Holt (who has been touring with Slayer as of late).

Even though the event, being held at The Gramercy in NYC, isn’t until September 7, tickets have already gone on sale at the Gramercy Theatre’s box office and online at Live Nation. And if past Metal Masters Clinics are any indicators, there are sure to be plenty of surprises in store for this event.
