Events, Updates

Motley Crue dropped hints all week as to what their “big announcement” on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight was going to be. While the full interview won’t actually air until Friday night (December 2), the band did reveal at the end of tonight’s show that they will be performing a month long residency in Las Vegas.

The sneak peek clip shown at the end of this evening’s Piers Morgan Tonight (as well as the band’s website) confirmed previous rumors that Motley Crue will be playing a residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas from February 3 to February 19, 2012. While tickets will be going on sale this Saturday (December 3) at 10 am to the public, a pre-sale is being offered right now and lasts until December 2 at 10 pm (using the code sin13) via Ticketmaster. Ticket prices range from $41-$81, though packages are also being offered starting at $259. A little pricey, but if anyone can give the likes of Cher and Elton John a run for their money when it comes to stage theatrics, it’s Motley Crue.

You can find more information about Motley Crue’s upcoming residency over at their website. The band also promises to further talk about their new gig and more on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight tomorrow at 9pm EST in an interview filmed at LA’s Whiskey A Go Go (which is where the picture above was snapped).
