Back in January, rumors started to spread that a multi-day festival was being held this Summer in honor of the legendary CBGB club. A few months later, a newly launched website and Sonicbids page confirmed that the CBGB Festival would indeed take place during July 4 weekend all over New York City. More details are still slowly rolling out. However, we now know that Sick Of It All, Vision Of Disorder, Cro-Mags, Absolution and Sai Nam (a band that consists of members of Breakdown,Skarhead and Trapped Under Ice) will be playing NYC’s Webster Hall as part of the festivities.

Tickets for the July 6 show go on sale tomorrow (May 8 ) via TicketWeb. The festival itself promises a mix of all genres of music, as well as films and industry related workshops. However, it’s only fitting the CBGB festival features a heavy dose of punk and hardcore. And this particular concert is one hell of a showcase for NYC old school hardcore. If they can get Sick Of It All, Cro-Mags and V.O.D. for one show, then it’ll be exciting to see who else they get for the festival.

Keep an eye on the CBGB’s website for more information to come. Tickets for Sick Of It All, Vision Of Disorder, Cro-Mags, Absolution and Sai Nam’s show at Webster Hall in NYC on July 6 will go on sale tomorrow (May 8 ) at 10 am EST via TicketWeb.
