A lot of anticipation (and even drama) has gone into Slipknot’s first show since the death of bassist Paul Gray one year ago. But the night has finally come, as Slipknot took the Sonisphere stage in Athens, Greece earlier tonight. The band, who had guitarist Donnie Steele fill in on bass out of the spotlight, appeared onstage in the red jumpsuits and masks they first wore in 1999 while performing a fifteen song set.

You can check out reviews of the show from both the Sonisphere Festival and Rock AAA online. Fan filmed video clips of Slipknot’s first show have already hit the web. You can check out the band playing “Disasterpiece” and “Before I Forget” below, while the show’s set list can be seen off to the side.
