Disappointed that this year’s Bonnaroo is lacking feces throwing and Faygo wet t-shirt contests? Well have no fear, for the Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering Of The Juggalos will return for its 12th year in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois from August 11-14.

The festival’s 12th edition will see performances once again from ICP and other regular acts from the Psychopathic Records roster. However, there are a few surprising names on this year’s lineup, namely Ice Cube, MC Hammer, Busta Rhymes, George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, Mystikal, Vanilla Ice, and many other rappers who’ll probably make you ask out loud “wait, they’re still alive?!” Ice Cube, for one, seems to be a surprising addition. Sure, he’s got cred from being in N.W.A., but the Gathering Of The Juggalos won’t necessarily help him maintain the family friendly cred he’s been trying go after as of late. Maybe this is the festival’s attempt to give Juggalos an act their kids can enjoy? “Yo momma ninja, ain’t that the dude from Are We There Yet?!” On the metal/hard rock side, bands like Saliva, Kittie, CKY, and Dope are set to appear at the festival as well. How fitting is it that a band like Saliva is performing at a festival where a majority of its audience has tendencies of drooling uncontrollably?

But of course, it wouldn’t be a Gathering Of The Juggalos festival without an infomercial! And oh how they’ve topped themselves. With an appearance by Vanilla Ice himself, ICP and Psychopathic Records have confirmed something that we had considered: that Juggalos are from outer space. You can watch the infomercial for the Gathering Of The Juggalos 2011 up top.
