Death Angel added to New England Metal and Hardcore Festival

Posted by on February 27, 2015

Just when you thought that the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival was done adding bands, they’ve gone and added more. A few days ago on the Festival’s Facebook page, a post simply read “DEATH ANGEL.” Now we can confirm that they are indeed on the bill. They’ll be playing on Friday, April 17th, right before Cavalera Conspiracy.

This is the only scheduled North American appearance for Death Angel at this moment, who were recently forced to pull out of this weekend’s Metal Against Cancer show in Marietta, GA, their only scheduled American show. You can blame that on drummer Will Carroll, who broke his foot while taking out trash. Now they’ve joined the bill of the three day festival, taking place from April 17-19th in Worcester, MA.

The band join a lineup that’s already completely nuts. Death Angel’s old school metal will fit in alongside Exodus, Testament, Nuclear Assault and Corrosion of Conformity. Technical/progressive metal more your speed? Between the Buried and Me, Allegaeon and The Atlas Moth are playing. Hardcore? Jasta, Nails, Code Orange, The Banner and For Today are among the many bands playing. Death metal your speed? Incantation

Metal Insider will be there, and you should be too! You can pick up three day passes here, or tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Find affordable hotel rooms in Worcester at Cheaphotels.org.
