In a surprise move, it’s been announced that the Insane Clown Posse has been added to Metallica’s Orion Music & More festival in Atlantic City, NJ on June 23 and 24. The ICP will be headlining their own stage at the two day festival, being dubbed the “Master Of Juggalos” stage.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich released the following statement regarding the addition of ICP and their own stage:

“You know, our goal from the start was to create a diverse, one of a kind music festival. With that in mind, we felt it was fitting that we prove how ‘down with the clown’ we truly are by collaborating with Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope on Orion Music & More.

Not only are we honored that the ICP will be performing both days of the festival, but that they have also agreed to curate their very own stage, the ‘Master Of Jugglaos’. Given the success that they have had with their own festival, the Gathering Of The Juggalos, we have no doubt that the ICP will make Orion Music & More the psychopathic event fans demand.”

In a move that mirrors Metallica’s, the band will be performing their 1996 breakout album The Great Milenko, in its entirety on the first night of the festival, while their most recent album, Bang! Pow! Boom! will be played on the second night. Bands confirmed for the “Master Of Juggalos” stage include Twiztid, Brokencyde, Blood On The Dance Floor, and Coolio, with more bands expected to be added soon. In addition to musical performances, there will also be a special wrestling match from the Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Aside from their annual Gathering of the Juggalos, this will be the largest festival the duo have played since Woodstock 99.
