The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival has announced the lineup for its 14th year. And after dropping an obvious hint last week, it’s been confirmed that Killswitch Engage will be one of the three day festival’s headliners. The festival also confirmed that The Black Dahlia Murder will be headlining one of the nights as well, while another headliner will be revealed on January 2.

Killswitch Engage will be headlining the third night (April 22) and will be joined by bands like Every Time I Die, Vanna, For Today, Chelsea Grin and others. The Black Dahlia Murder will be headlining the first night (April 20), and will be performing along with The Acacia Strain, Oceano, All Shall Perish, Nile, Skeletonwitch and others. While the headliner for the second night (April 21) won’t be announced until January 2, bands like Overkill, iwrestledabearonce, Protest the Hero, Periphery, and Bane have been confirmed.

From what we can see of the lineup announced so far, this is definitely a hell of a solid year for the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival (especially after, in our opinion, last year’s lackluster bill). We’re especially looking forward to seeing who the mystery headliner will be. You can check out a complete rundown of each day’s lineup after the jump. Tickets for each day will go on sale Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. You can also get more information about the festival, being held form April 20-22 at the Palladium Theatre in Worcester, MA, via its newly launched website.
