Not too long ago, we suggested that it was unlikely that Korn would bring the Family Values Tour back from the dead. As it turns out, it will indeed be returning … as a one day festival.

Right before everyone one went away for a long weekend, Billboard posted a teaser video (as seen below) hyping up the Family Values Festival. While it includes live footage of bands playing past incarnations of the tour, the only information about the festival the video revealed is that it’ll take place on October 5 (and is one night only). As you’ll recall, the last time Family Values name was attached to anything was back in 2007. Yet the timing of Family Values’ return makes perfect sense, given that Korn’s new album The Paradigm Shift comes out on October 8 via Prospect Park/Caroline Records.

UPDATE: Since posting the original story, the Family Values Festival lineup and location has been revealed. Taking place at the 1st Bank Center in Denver, Colorado, Korn will be joined by Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria (who Korn is also touring with), Machine Gun Kelly, and Beware Of Darkness.

We may have to wait a little longer for more info on the Family Values Festival (including where it’ll take place, let alone who’s playing), but for now you can watch the teaser video for the festival below.
