Festivals

It’s early January, which means one thing: It’s time to start speculating about all of the festival lineups happening this Spring and Summer. The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival has beat people to the punch by announcing the lineup  for their 15th Annual Festival. Among the headliners are Hatebreed, Opeth, and Suicidal Tendencies, as well as the lineup of the Metal Alliance tour (Anthrax, Exodus, High on Fire, Municipal Waste and Holy Grail. Shadows Fall, Ensiferum and Black Breath are also among those playing.

Sure, the Maryland Deathfest has upped the ante in the last few years in terms of being a destination festival, but NEMHF keeps turning in quality lineups, and any metalhead anywhere in or around the Eastern Seaboard should be making reservations from April 19-21st to head to Worcester, MA. Like previous years, things will kick off with a pre-party on April 18th. There will likely be a few additions to the bill. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, January 18th. Check out the confirmed bands after the jump.
