The new year started off on a sad note for of Of Mice & Men fans, as the band’s longtime singer Austin Carlile decided to officially step down from the band following his health issues. The connective tissue disorder Marfan Syndrome Carlile suffers from not only kept him off the road for a number of shows over the last few years, but his style of singing was harming his body. It’s not clear who will replace him in the band, but they’ve got until May 19th to figure that out, as it’s been announced that the band have been added to this year’s Rock on the Range festival. The fest, which will be held at Columbus, OH’s Mapfre Stadium, is officially sold out.

That’s not the only addition to the sold-out fest, as the original lineup of Live has reunited, with Ed Kowalczyk back on vocals. He hadn’t been in the band since 2009, and it didn’t seem like they’d be back together anytime soon. Wanna know what 30,000 people signing “Lightning Crashes” sounds like? You’ll find out in May.
