Ozzfest Returns…In Japan

Just when you thought it was dead and done, Ozzy Osbourne’s famed (and aging) touring festival Ozzfest looks like it’s set to make a return in 2013 on May 11th and 12th. The catch? It’s in Japan.

We realize that this doesn’t really do you much good if you don’t live in Japan (or on that side of the world for that matter), but considering that this is the first sign of life from the festival since Ozzfest 2010, it’s definitely worth taking notice. Plus, it’s safe to say fans will be speculating that Black Sabbath will headline since they’ll be touring in Australia in the spring.

There is no line-up as of yet, but we can only imagine who Sharon Osbourne is trying to round up for such a show if Sabbath turns out to be headlining. And if it turns out that Ozzfest will be making its way over to the US, it’s going to be up against Mayhem Fest and Uproar, making for one hell of a competitive summer.
