Festivals

It still hasn’t even been three months since this year’s Maryland Deathfest, at which the bands gave absolutely everything they had to give, but new additions to the lineup for the 2013 edition of the festival just keep rolling in.

Newly confirmed bands as of today are Pig Destroyer (whose new album is set to be released this fall), Loss, Broken Hope, Repulsion, Pagan Altar, Vinterland, Weedeater, Gride, and . You’ll find the so-far-confirmed lineup of the Baltimore-based festival at the end of this article.

Speaking of Baltimore-based, as we told you a while ago, the festival will be changing locations in its eleventh year running. While it will still take place somewhere in Baltimore, MD, the exact location has still yet to be disclosed. So basically, what the festival organizers are saying is “We’ll tell you about all these great bands you’ll get to see, but we won’t tell you where”. And you know what? For now, that is more than enough to look forward to next year’s Deathfest.

The date, however, is set in stone. Deathfest XI will take place from May 23 to May 26, 2013, and if you decide to go you’re in for some headbanging to all the bands listed after the jump.
