Festivals

Last year saw Rocklahoma breaking attendance records, with 35,000 fans attending the Memorial Day weekend festival. And it’s safe to say that they’re hoping to break that record once again with this year’s lineup.

Bands like Rob Zombie, Chickenfoot, Creed, Megadeth, Slash, Queensryche, Jackyl, Hellyeah, The Darkness, Trivium, Volbeat and many others have been confirmed for this year’s Rocklahoma. The Oklahoma festival has been noted for featuring a mix of hair metal and mainstream hard rock acts in the past few years. Upon first glance, though, it appears that this year’s lineup has a heavier dose of active hard rock groups (with bands like Queensryche and Jackyl being the exception). With that said, this year’s Rocklahoma still has potential to bring in a large audience. Plus, it’s not every day you get to see Rob Zombie, Chickenfoot and Creed’s names on the same bill.

This year’s Rocklahoma will once again take place at the “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma during memorial day weekend (May 25-27). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 24 at 10 a.m. CST, while pre-sale tickets via Rocklahoma’s website take place the day before. You can check out the entire lineup after the jump.
