rotrThe lineup for this year’s Rock on the Range has been announced, and the annual Columbus, Ohio festival has gotten bigger and more metal than ever before. Expanding to three days this year, ROTR will take place on May 16th, 17th and 18th. And while the rock fest is headlined this year by Guns N’ Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Kid Rock and Five Finger Death Punch, they’ve added more metal than in years past. Slayer, Motorhead, Killswitch Engage, Mastodon, Down, Kvelertak, Gojira, Black Label Society, Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies, We Came as Romans, Trivium, Truckfighters, Twelve Foot Ninja, Avatar, Kyng, Fozzy, Wilson and Butcher Babies are among those playing.

It’s been pretty exciting to watch the fest evolve from interchangeable generic active rock bands to some of the biggest rock and metal bands in the business (along with some interchangeable generic active rock bands). In addition, there’s going to be a ROTR comedy tent featuring Jim Breuer (who’s band will also be playing the fest), Jim Florentine, and more.
