Soulfly Join Gathering Of The Juggalos

One is all about family, and the other – actually, you know what? We’re not even going to try to tie the two together: Soulfly will be playing the annual shitshow known as the Gathering of the Juggalos. Max Cavalera and friends are joining the Insane Clown Posse. along with “acts” like Twizted, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and the Pysocpathic Rydas. It’s hard to say how they’ll go over there. They could go over really well, or pelted with stuff, like Tila Tequila was.

While Soulfly is the most legitimate heavy band to play, past years have featured Andrew WK, Primer 55, Kittie and Saliva, along with a ton of hip hop artists, like Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, and Lil Jon. While ICP deserve all the respect in the world for creating an empire around gron men in clown makeup rapiing over shittily-produced hip-hop, it’s hard to see where Soulfly fits in with the rest of the lineup. It promises to be an interesting time for anyone making it out, except for Ass Dan.

Also, the band will be on tour playing shows that aren’t the Gathering. You can find out where on their website.
