Technically, the World’s Loudest Month of festivals put on by Danny Wimmer Presents and AEG are in May, but they kick off a week early down in Florida with Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock. And while we’re still about  2 1/2 months Jacksonville’s Welcome to Rockville, taking place on April 29th and 30th, an interesting new lineup addition has happened, with Of Mice & Men joining the lineup.

It’s interesting because we don’t know who’s going to be singing for them yet. Vocalist Austin Carlile, who has been sufferring from Marfan Syndrome, left the band at the end of last year. They’d already committed to playing Las Vegas’ Las Rageous festival the week before, so it must mean that either they have another vocalist or bassist/vocalist Aaron Pauley will cover.

In other news, among the experiences at the seventh annual Welcome To Rockville, wine fans will have a rare east coast opportunity to sample Maynard James Keenan’s wine, as there will be a Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards Wine Garden. Here’s what Keenan says about it:

“We’re looking forward to being a part of a positive 2017 and seeing 2016 in our rearview mirrors. Bringing A Perfect Circle and the Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards Wine Garden to Welcome To Rockville is the first of many steps we plan on taking towards that goal. A thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents for this opportunity to co-headline with Soundgarden. We’re off to a great start.”
