Festivals

So the inaugural Orion Music & More festival is this weekend, and Metal Insider will be representing! The festival promises to be the most exciting thing to happen at Atlantic City’s Bader Field since a plane overshot the runway and landed up in the water. It’ll be interesting both for the metal bands that are playing, and for the indie and non-metal bands there. Will it bring festivalgoers that show up only for the Gaslight Anthem/Modest Mouse portion of the festivities? Will Metallica fans be hostile to the bands that aren’t Metallica? Will Ghost and Red Fang enlighten close-minded metal fans that haven’t listened to anything post-Black Album? We’ll be there to bring you the blow by blow, with plenty of interviews with the artists, and technology permitting, live updates from the action.
