The Most Metal Cake Ever? (Spoiler Alert, No)

If there’s one thing we like almost as much as metal, it’s cake. If you combine the two, that’s gold. So our interest was piqued when we saw a tweet from Metal Hammer reading “Most. Metal. Cake. Ever.” It turns out it’s just a cake for Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods awards. Listen, we don’t really have anything against it (except for maybe the name of cake’s creator, Choccywoccydoodah), but when you’ve got beauties like this awesomely retro Slayer cake, or one of the many that friend of Metal Insider Jessa Blavatsky makes for her company SlaytaniCakes (like this Immortal one, for example), the cake created for Metal Hammer’s awards ceremony just doesn’t take the, um, never mind.
