Free Stuff

This coming Fall will be very busy for Atlanta’s MonstrO. In addition to touring with Kyuss Lives! and The Sword, the quartet will be releasing their debut self-titled album on September 6. Now they’re giving fans a taste via a free download.

MonstrO is giving away a new song called “Anchors Up!” for free download via their Facebook page. If for some reason you don’t like free things, you can also stream the song on the band’s website before downloading. If the rest of this album, which was produced by Alice In Chains’ William DuVall, sounds as solid as this song, then this is one album we’re looking forward to hearing this Fall. Fun fact: bassist Kyle Sanders, formerly in Bloodsimple, is Troy Sanders of Mastodon’s brother.
