Maybe if they stopped with the nonsense hottest chicks in metal and actually put out decent material consistantly they wouldn’t be having this problem? Metal edge and Metal Maniacs were basically the same drivel every month. Press releases and “interviews’ which were more or less cut and paste jobs with longwinded storytelling between quotes. Funny, decible is doing fine. Hell they even just published a book, revolver on the other hand is cutting back after their hottest chicks ever issue? wonder what went wrong

It all goes back to how their audience are consuming content. I can hardly believe that vast swaths of the metal audience have straight up evaporated, so I wonder if the problem isn’t just that the magazines need to figure out how these people are seeking out their news if not on paper and fulfill that need for them.
