Fans were saddened to hear yesterday that singer Peter Dolving had left The Haunted. While both Dolving and the band (who later confirmed the departure as well) have stayed mum about the reasoning behind the split, The Haunted have made it clear that they will continue on with a new singer.

First, though, they need to find that new singer. That’s why the Swedish metal group launched their vocalist search earlier this morning. Along with the image above, The Haunted released the following statement:

“Serious applicants please send your submissions, including two songs from the Haunted back catalogue and a few words to describe yourself. Images & links to performance video clips are much appreciated and will be most valuable in the screening process.

Send your application to the e-mail address above [apply@the-haunted.com]”

So do you think you have what it takes to replace Dolving in The Haunted? Then don’t waste any more time and start putting together your resume now. Send your submission to apply@the-haunted.com.
