It’s been about five months since Randy Blythe was arrested on manslaughter charges in Prague. And since his release and return to the States, the Lamb Of God singer has made it clear that we will return to the Czech Republic to stand trial if needed. Well, it looks like we’ll find out by the end of the month whether he’ll need to make the trip back.

According to Czech news portal iDNES.cz (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), police have completed its investigation on Blythe regarding the death of a fan two years ago at a Lamb Of God show in Prague. Police have reportedly sent their files to the prosecutor with a recommendation that Blythe be indicted and ordered to return to the Czech Republic to stand trial. The prosecutor is expected to spend the next few weeks to study the case, but could very likely come to a decision on whether to file criminal charges by the end of this month.

Lamb Of God are in the middle of a U.S. tour, and already have plans to play overseas. While we’d like to believe that Blythe’s legal troubles are over, we never thought he’d end up in jail for five weeks either. Here’s hoping for the best outcome.
