Fear Factory Saga Continues: Burton/Dino Lineup Cancels Tour

Legal Woes

fear_factory_(dr)The “new” version of Fear Factory (I guess this would be 3.0?) featuring the reunion of Burton C. Bell and Dino Cazares without the other two original members has now reportedly canceled their debut gig and entire German tour with no official announcement and no additional touring plans announced. Could this have something to do with the ongoing legal battle for the Fear Factory trademark?

hate to say it, but this is kind of what happens when you dont talk with past members about using the name before booking gigs. whether the arkaea mmembers quit the band or didnt, when a band has been out of actions for so long and you are not including past members, you should seriously take care of the legal issues before you go about announcing yourselfs as that trademark and make gigs. its burton and dino’s fault for not discussing with wolbher before hand. if they had to just discussed their intentions before hand instead of going behind their backs and not informing them of their decision, all of this couldve been prevented, or at least not made as dramatic
