Though Phil Rudd plead guilty to threatening to kill a former assistant along with drug possession back in April, he has yet to be formally sentenced – and he’s facing a potential seven years in prison! But the longtime AC/DC drummer will have to wait a bit longer to hear his fate, as sentencing has been pushed back to July 9th in the Tauranga District Court of New Zealand.

Even after pleading guilty to all those charges, Rudd still seems to think he’s got a future with the band, saying:

“I’m sure they’re having a great old time. I’m sure they’re really enjoying playing. I’m sure it really sounds great.

There’ll be another tour and another and I’ll be on it. It’ll go until we all die. We’ll probably all have to be dead before it stops.”

Filling in for Rudd during this whole fiasco has been former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade, who rejoined (again) back in February, leading up to the band’s performance on the Grammy.
