Contests, March is Metal Month

As you all know by now, March is Metal Month. That means that it’s time to support your favorite genre of music by picking up some music from some of its best artists. It’s also something that EMI and the labels it distributes are doing to raise awareness of all the bands on its’ labels. Candlelight is one of those labels, and they’re running a rad contest through the end of the month in which you can win some great swag from some of their artists. In honor of March is Metal Month and two of their artists, Orange Goblin and Corrosion of Conformity, hitting #1 at CMJ’s Loud Rock charts, they’re giving you the chance to win prizes like T-shirts, CD’s, limited vinyl and downloads from artists across their roster. All you have to do to win is go their Facebook page and ‘like’ it.

What can you win? Try T-shirts from Havok, Absu, Insomnium, Opeth, Burzum, Emperor, Limbonic Art, Blood Tsunami, Zyklon, and Ihsahn.  Vinyl from Fear Factory, Corrosion of Conformity, Orange Goblin, Abigail Williams, and Havok.  Downloads from Orange Goblin and Woe.  Autographed posters from Orange Goblin, Havok and more.

Remember, all you have to do to get in on the action is go to Candlelight’s Facebook page and like it. Winners will be selected at random each day. And yeah, we know. While March is Metal Month, we know that every month is metal month!
