Mashups

When listening to Adele, not many would stop and think “Hmm, I wonder what she would sound like in an industrial metal group.” As it turns out, though, that’s what was exactly on DJ Poulpi’s mind. Hence the creation of “Adele vs. Fear Factory: A New Machine Of Soul.”

In the video above, the Belgian DJ created a mashup using the vocal track from Adele’s hit “Set Fire To The Rain” and the instrumental track from Fear Factory’s “Replica.” And it’s hard to believe, but the two songs work shockingly well together! The mashup has even received Fear Factory’s blessing, with the band posting on Facebook, “This is why we love the Internet…interesting mashups!”

Check out the mashup for yourself in the video above. It’s by far the closest we’ll ever get to hear Adele performing with Fear Factory.
