So… did Guns N’ Roses confirm its lineup with an autographed drum head?

GNR signed drum head 2016At this point, we know more about who IS NOT partaking in Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming reunion. Well, there’s been a lot of speculation as to who else will be joining Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan onstage starting this April, but no official announcement. But thanks to an autographed drum head being auctioned off for charity, we might have an answer.

The group Mule Kick, which features Guns N’ Roses drummer Frank Ferrer, is playing a benefit show for victims of the water crisis in Flint, MI on Tuesday night (March 15) at Brooklyn’s Beast Of Bourbon bar. To raise more money for the victims, Fuller has donated an autographed drum head supposedly signed by the current lineup of Guns N’ Roses. As you can see in the picture above, the drum head is signed by Rose, Slash, McKagan, Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus and keyboardist Dizzy Reed (the last three having been members of the band’s latest lineup). And in case you questioned how recently it had been signed, 2016 can be spotted on multiple spots of the drum head.

Sureshan Pather, who owns Beast Of Bourbon, confirmed to One On One With Mitch Lafon that the drum head is legit. “Frank is a dear friend and plays drums for my house band Mule Kick,” Pather tells Ladon. “He dropped the head off to me yesterday. It’s going to be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the people of Flint.”

So there you go, we now know who is going to be playing in Guns N’ Roses this year, even though it’s pretty much exactly who we expected. We now know for sure that original members Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler will indeed not be partaking in the reunion (at least not for more than a song or two). This also confirmed that Chinese Democracy era member Chris Pitman won’t be participating either, which makes his recent Twitter rant about the “nostalgia tour” even more understandable (and how sad, he seemed so excited about playing Coachella). Still, don’t hold your breath for an official announcement before the band plays Las Vegas.
