Metal By Numbers

devildriverWe’re hearing whispers of a few big debuts for metal acts on today’s sales charts. DevilDriver’s Pray For Villains will reportedly bow in the No. 35 position on the Billboard 200 with over 14,600 copies sold, more or less the same as 2007′s The Last Kind Words.

Clutch’s Strange Cousins From The West is also projected for a top 40 debut in their usual 14k range, as we heard late last week that it was outpacing Job For A Cowboy’s first week. Check back later today for Metal By Numbers to see how these and other notable metal releases did on the sales and radio charts.

its good to see stuff like this. I am tired of shit music being popular.

the new devil driver album starts out with a blistering fast opener. The whole album is really good. You can hear the growth in their music.
